Entre as surpresas e confirmações, as nomeações de Sylvester Stallone por “Creed: Nascido para Lutar” em Melhor Ator Coadjuvante e Alicia Vikander por “Ex-Machina” em Melhor Atriz Coadjuvante mostram que devem ser seriamente levados em consideração ao Oscar 2016.

Mas quem deve ficar extremamente contente é “Mad Max: Estrada da Fúria”, que foi nomeado em duas categorias principais: Melhor Filme em Drama e Melhor Diretor para George Miller. Assim como "Perdido em Marte", lembrado em Melhor Filme em Comédia ou Musical, Diretor para Ridley Scott e ainda levou mais uma nomeação em Melhor Ator em Comédia para Matt Damon .
